from End Point Corporation

Josh is an old member of the Postgres community, and had made it a little bit of a hobby to give the occasional talk like this. Also he's been a Linux user through and through for many, many years now, and if he's going to write something it'll probably be in Python. Josh is currently employed as a Postgres consultant at End Point Corporation.

How's that Postgres database? Would be a shame if something were to happen to it. No, really, I'd feel sad. You have backups, right?

But there's so many options, what kind? SQL-based or point-in-time recovery? Are you using a backup management solution with that? What about replicas? Physical or logical? We'll take you through the all the possibilities, along with some demonstrations of database recovery methods. That way you can have confidence in your backups, it's some of the best insurance you can get.
