Currently working with a fantastic technology company that delivers creative solutions to tough problems, without fuss or complicated contracts. We specialize in solving the unique server and network related challenges of SaaS hosting providers, ISP's, and software development teams.
Node-RED is a flow based programming tool for connecting hardware devices, APIs and online services together in a new and interesting way - with little to no programming skills required at all.
In this session we'll explore Node-Red and how I've used it for:
- Connecting to a Raspberry Pi's GPIO for digital I/O.
- Connecting to Google Home and Google Assistant for voice I/O.
- Connecting to Slack for text based I/O.
- Connecting it all together so solve a home automation challenge.
