Troy is most famous for being one of the original creators of Scientific Linux. He loves creating linux operating systems, and has been doing that since 2001. He worked for Fermilab for 18 years, and has been working for Red Hat since 2011. His current hobby is turning open source graphical designs into fashionable physical items.

It's fairly easy to open source software. It's a little harder to open source graphics. Open sourcing patterns brings in another level of difficulty. But what happens when you try to combine all three of these things together. Can it be done? Can you make money with your entire toolchain open sourced? Join Troy Dawson as he talks about his journey of starting a business that tries to sell physical products, while at the same time, open sources the entire product.
